Markus Vogt was born 1971 and is a German digital artist who began creating computer imagery many years ago. He has various other interests including art, music, sports and, of course, his family and true friends are very important to him.

His art has appeared in several graphics related magazines like “3D World”, “3dArtist”, “Advanced Photoshop” or “Animation Reporter” as well as on various book and CD covers.

Markus loves the worlds of science fiction and dark art, and most of his images fall under these categories.

Painting or all other sorts of creative work was always one of his main preferences since childhood. Digitally, he started out in 2003 with vector graphics orientated programs like CorelDraw. Shortly later he became interested in 3d modeling and rendering packages like Cinema 4d, Vue, Bryce, Poser and so on.

In combination with Photoshop, these are Markus’ main focus now.
